Summary of learning outcomes:
Able to describe health behaviour interventions at a societal and individual level and relate to practice and population of interest.
Able to recognise, targeted and change health behaviours to promote health and wellbeing.
Able to incorporate health behaviour change theory within therapeutic interventions to improve service user engagement in treatment and the effectiveness of that treatment.
Apply course content to own clinical area and population of interest.
Learners should prepare by identifying an example from practice where they have struggle to affect change, for example: an intervention that has not succeeded; a behaviour that they have identified for change; a hard to engage population; an evidence-based piece of practice they wish to incorporate into an intervention
