This course gives the learner an understanding of the unique needs of people diagnosed with dementia under 65 years old.
Participants will effectively consider the implications of a young onset dementia diagnosis on finances, family dynamics, emotions, health, work and more.
Participants will explore different types of dementia which are more common amongst people who are under 65 and live with dementia.
Participants will hear from Experts by Experience about their experiences of living with a young onset dementia diagnosis.
Participants will develop knowledge and understanding about best practice guidance to support people living with a young onset dementia diagnosis.
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will receive an e-certificate for their CPD records.

Cancellations must be made via email to dementia@bradford.ac.uk. For places cancelled by the Monday four weeks before the start of the course, the full course fee will be refunded. Between the following Tuesday and the second Monday before the course, inclusive, a charge of 50% of the fee will be made. After that day, or for non- attendance, the full amount will be payable.
